In a rapidly transforming global energy landscape, Libya stands at the crossroads of opportunity and change. The Energy Jeel Initiative (EJI) was born from this very intersection — a national movement that brings together people, policy, and purpose to shape a just and sustainable energy transition for our country.
What started as an ambitious idea has now evolved into a growing force uniting government institutions, the private sector, and young innovators under one vision: to ensure Libya’s energy future is clean, inclusive, and future-proof.
Building a Movement, Not Just a Conference
Through the Energy Jeel Initiative, we have successfully launched a series of national efforts — from awareness campaigns and policy dialogues to large-scale gatherings like the Libya Just and Sustainable Energy Transition Conference and the National Energy Exhibition. These platforms have become meeting points for global energy leaders, ambassadors, oil corporations, and youth innovators to exchange ideas and design actionable pathways for Libya’s energy transformation.
Over just a few months, EJI managed to engage hundreds of experts and more than 450 participants from across Libya and abroad, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for a more sustainable and diversified energy future.
Empowering the Next Generation
At the heart of EJI lies a belief that youth and communities must lead the journey toward sustainability. Our efforts are not only focused on energy efficiency and renewable integration but also on creating an environment where young professionals, engineers, and innovators can learn, contribute, and grow.
We are investing in the human capital that will drive the next phase of Libya’s development — because we believe energy transition is not just about technology; it’s about people, education, and opportunity.
A Call to Collaborate
The Energy Jeel Initiative is not a one-time event. It’s a continuous journey of learning, connecting, and building. Our goal is to make Libya a regional hub for energy innovation and to invite global partners who share our commitment to progress, sustainability, and shared prosperity.
If you are an organization, expert, or partner passionate about sustainable energy, development, or youth empowerment — let’s connect. Together, we can turn the vision of a just and sustainable energy transition in Libya into a reality that inspires the region and the world.
