Last July, I embarked on an extraordinary journey to Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar in East Libya, a hidden treasure that seamlessly blends breathtaking beauty, dedicated conservation efforts, and warm hospitality. This captivating destination became the backdrop for an unforgettable audiovisual production, documenting the inspiring clean-up and planting campaigns organized by Chlorophyll and funded by the European Union Delegation to Libya.
From the moment I set foot in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar, I found myself immersed in a world of natural wonders. The mesmerizing landscapes, vibrant valleys, and majestic peaks formed an awe-inspiring canvas for our project. However, what truly made this experience unforgettable was the genuine warmth and generosity of the local hosts, whose hospitality surpassed all expectations.
During my time in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar, I witnessed firsthand the remarkable synergy between the community and the European Union Delegation to Libya in their unwavering commitment to environmental preservation.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to the gracious hosts, the European Union Delegation to Libya, and Chlorophyll for their tireless dedication to preserving the environment and for providing an enriching experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar, a haven nestled in East Libya, is where nature’s splendor harmonizes with the collective efforts of conservation. It is a place where beauty, conservation, and hospitality intertwine, creating an oasis of wonder that deserves to be celebrated and cherished.
Special Thanks to the European Union delegation to Libya and Chlorophyll organization.
